Fall Has Arrived on the North Shore, and So Have the Festivals
We are officially entering the fall season here on the North Shore. The foliage is changing colors, the air is getting crisper, and fall activities are starting to trickle into the agenda. Fall Family Festival: Animals and Oz at the Kohl Children’s Museum
Sunday, October 4th from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., the Kohl Children’s Museum in Glenview is hosting its Wizard of Oz-themed fall family festival. There are plenty of activities to enjoy with your children, including exotic animal encounters with a sloth, rabbits, and reptiles, mini train rides through the outdoor exhibit, a costume parade, and carnival games. Harvest Fest in Wilmette

The multi-day long festival has plenty of options to keep you entertained all weekend. Fall Fest at First in Evanston
This free event at First Presbyterian in Evanston is taking place on Saturday, October 3rd from 3:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. Bring your kids, and bring your dog (or dogs) too for the Blessing of the Animals at 4:30 p.m. Live music, family activities, food, and fall-themed activities make this a perfect outing for your family this weekend.
