Three Recipes for Fall 2022

October 12, 2022

Are you looking to bake, or buy the perfect fall dessert?

Here are THREE recipes with three levels of difficulties. These will be great for a house-warming party in your new home.

Option 1 (From Scratch): Pumpkin Pudding

This option can be made with pumpkin puree or if you are feeling really adventurous you can blend your own pumpkin. This recipe is courtesy of Bowl of Delicious.

You will need whole milk, pumpkin puree (or a whole pumpkin), pumpkin spice mix, sugar, cornstarch, salt, and egg yolks. The full cooking instructions can be found by clicking here.

Now, some clients or guests don’t enjoy pumpkin, so you can also do an apple based pudding, or offer both options. Depending on the crowd, it may be best to separate it into individual cups.

Option 2 (From the Mix): Pumpkin Bars by Williams Sonoma

This mix is absolutely scrumptious and takes out some of the “from scratch” work but with its brown sugar it is sure to make your mouth water.

The mix offers 2 serving sizes, but I suggest you order it ahead of time to ensure it arrives in time for the party. These can be arranged into the shape of a house by placing wax paper between each one.

Option 3 (From the Store/ Premade): Pumpkin Muffins

Pumpkin Muffins that are pre-made, and placed on a nice plate, can take out any of the baking or kitchen-mess if you are in a pinch for time. Trader Joes has gluten free pumpkin muffins that are very delicious. These wonderful Pumpkin Muffins are also available at Target and Whole Foods.

I can vouch for how delicious these are and how they take the work out of cooking!
